Terms of Service

1. Scope of Services

As a freelance AI consultant, CTO, and cloud architect, I provide:

• AI Consultancy & Enablement: Enterprise AI strategy, implementation roadmaps, and organizational transformation
• AI Solution Architecture: Design and implementation of AI-powered systems and intelligent workflows
• Machine Learning Development: ML model design, training, deployment, and MLOps infrastructure
• Cloud Architecture Consulting: Design and implementation of cloud-native solutions with AI integration
• Microservices Strategy: Architecture planning and best practices implementation for AI-enabled systems
• Technical Leadership: CTO services, team mentoring, and strategic guidance for AI adoption
• DevOps & MLOps Transformation: CI/CD pipeline optimization, infrastructure automation, and ML lifecycle management
• Technology Strategy: Innovation roadmaps and technical decision making for AI-driven transformation

2. Client Obligations

Clients agree to:

• Provide necessary access to systems and documentation
• Communicate requirements clearly and promptly
• Make timely payments according to agreed terms
• Respect intellectual property rights

3. Intellectual Property

• All pre-existing intellectual property remains with its respective owner
• Work product created during engagement is owned by the client upon full payment
• Open source contributions remain under their respective licenses

4. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to maintain strict confidentiality regarding:

• Business strategies and plans
• Technical architectures and implementations
• Financial information
• Any information marked as confidential

5. Payment Terms

• Invoices are due within 14 days of receipt
• Late payments may incur interest charges according to German law
• All prices are in EUR unless otherwise specified
• VAT will be added according to applicable regulations

6. Limitation of Liability

• Liability is limited to the contract value except in cases of gross negligence
• No liability for indirect or consequential damages
• Force majeure events exempt both parties from liability

7. Termination

• Either party may terminate with 30 days written notice
• Immediate termination possible for cause
• All work completed up to termination must be compensated

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by German law. Place of jurisdiction is Berlin, Germany.
